Walk the Stork!

Lets descover the new continent,

called "common future"!

The Storks Eye`s View

Migrating birds monitor the inter-dependance of all forms of life on earth. If the earth’s atmosphere gets hot, landscapes are over-exploited, contaminated and dried up. The future is endangered both for the world of fauna and flora, and not least of all mankind. So the stork eye' s view can help us to see, that to develop  a sustainable livelihood for all living beings, is an inter-continental challenge.

The One that Dicovered the European Continent!

In the stork we see a pointer towards a sustainable form of globalisation. The original African bird became a migratory bird as a result of the reclaiming of European woodlands and the development of agriculture. Therefore, the white stork was able to extend its breeding area more and more to the north, where the days are longer during the period between April and September. One may fantasize therefore, the white stork once discovered the European continent.

Paradise apears to be lost!

Paradise apears to be lost through modern methods of acriculture and so a new continent  is seeking to be regained. On that “continent” meadows won’t be drained to make way for crops, electric transmitters on masts will no longer be a mortal danger to birds, the climate will have stabilized and storks will fly freely from one feeding area to another forever. Aand of  course also Adam and Eve will not have to burn under the effects of the global worming.

A New Continent?

But the "continent" that we are seeking, can neither be arrive by sailing the old  ships of Columbus, nor by the economic "canons" of neo-colonialism. Our new voyage of discovery is named "sustainable developement".
